Navila's booking terms are Komodo Explorer's own. Pay 50 percent to hold the date, then the remainder 30 days before sailing; refunds shrink as notice shortens. If Navila is out of action, you choose between an equal or better boat and your money back.
A deposit secures the date; the balance secures the sailing
Accept a quote and pay 50 percent of the fare, and the date is held, along with your cabin on the open trip. We confirm receipt in the same WhatsApp thread, and from that moment the date is yours.
The remainder falls to be paid 30 days ahead of sailing. A guest who prefers can instead settle the balance on the day of departure, in cash or by card machine in Labuan Bajo. Card machine payments carry the 3 percent fee shown in the table, and a payment link by card carries 3 percent. PayPal carries 7.2 percent.
In the table you can follow the sequence. Park fees, drinks, tips and other items that sit beside the fare are paid as they arise and are not part of the deposit.

Deposit 50% to confirm, balance 30 days before departure. You can also settle the balance in Labuan Bajo on the departure day, in cash or by card on the EDC machine. Fees: card payment link 3%, PayPal 7.2%, EDC card machine 3%. Your issuing bank may add its own charges.
Cancellation and rescheduling: what is returned
If you cancel, the refund depends on how many days remain before sailing. With 60 days or more, 50 percent of what you paid is returned. With 30 to 59 days, 25 percent is returned. Inside 30 days, nothing is returned, because the date has by then been held empty for you.
Moving a date is kinder than cancelling. Moving the date with 30 days or more in hand costs nothing. Moving it with 14 to 29 days in hand carries a fee of IDR 500,000. A change requested with fewer than 14 days left is treated as a cancellation.
Send every request in writing, in the booking thread. The day we read it is the day it counts, so write as soon as you know. The table below repeats these windows in a form you can print.

If we cancel, you are refunded 100 percent · Once the refund conditions are met, the money is usually transferred within 2 × 24 hours.
Navila unable to sail: swap or refund
Sometimes the boat itself cannot sail on the date we sold, and the cause lies with the boat or the operator, not with you. The promise in that case is fixed, and it is written here so that you can hold us to it.
- We offer a boat in the same class or a higher one, on your date, with no extra charge.
- Or you take a full refund of what you paid, returned, normally within 2 × 24 hours once the refund conditions are met.
- You decide, and you decide after we have named the replacement.
Weather is a different matter and is handled differently. The captain and the harbour authority decide whether and where the boat sails on the day. A change in the sequence of stops, or in the anchorage, is a change of route and not a cancellation. If sailing is closed and the voyage cannot take place, we apply the same two options and explain them in writing before you decide.
Children, ID papers and travel cover
Infants and toddlers aged 0 to 2 are carried free, with a parent or guardian. From age 3 the full fare applies. Each cabin holds one double bed, so give us the children's ages with your quote request and we write back with the sleeping plan.
Send your passport or ID details at least seven days before sailing, as these terms require.
Travel insurance is the guest's own to arrange, and we recommend it. It is not included in any fare, and cover for diving is a separate matter for those who dive elsewhere on their trip. These terms are governed by Indonesian law.

What are the deposit, the balance deadline and the cancellation windows for Navila?

If Navila is replaced or cancelled by the operator, what do I receive?
What you receive instead is a boat in the same class or a better one, sailing on your date, at no further cost. If you decline the replacement, or none suitable exists, everything you paid comes back, normally within 2 × 24 hours once the refund conditions are met. We tell you the details in writing first, and the decision between the two is yours.
How far ahead should I book a Komodo boat trip on Navila?
A deposit of 50 percent holds a date, so the earlier you pay it, the earlier the date is yours. The park is at its busiest in July and August, so those dates deserve earlier planning. For an open-trip seat, we check the date live on WhatsApp before you pay.
