The park package: what it holds, what it leaves out and when it is settled

KEXI's park package per guest: 3D2N: IDR 650,000 per foreign guest, IDR 350,000 per Indonesian guest; 4D3N: IDR 750,000 per foreign guest, IDR 350,000 per Indonesian guest. Komodo National Park fees for charter guests on Navila come as one bundled package, priced by guest and trip type, quoted apart from the fare. Inside it, the park's own ticket costs IDR 250,000 per foreign guest each day, and IDR 50,000 for an Indonesian guest. Ranger and local levies sit inside the package, and we confirm yours in writing.
Inside the Komodo park package
The park package is a single line covering everything the park charges. It combines the entrance ticket with ranger and local levies, and it is quoted per guest and per trip type. On a charter or on the open trip, it is settled apart from Navila's price unless your written quote includes it.
The tickets inside it are the park's own, set by national regulation PP 36/2024. A foreign guest is charged IDR 250,000 for each day; an Indonesian guest pays IDR 50,000 for a weekday ticket and IDR 75,000 for one at the weekend.
The table below gives the package for each trip type. The package is ours; the tickets inside it are the park's, and we never present the package as a government ticket.
Since the amounts depend on each guest's nationality and on the days of the route, we confirm them for your party in writing.

One package covers the government entrance ticket (IDR 250,000 per foreign visitor per day, PP 36/2024), the ranger fee and the local levies. It is quoted per guest and paid on top of the boat price, unless your quote says it is included. For other trip lengths, the desk quotes the package with your booking.

Calculating the package for your size and your days
The sum is a simple multiplication: the package for your trip type, times the number of guests in each group. Foreign and Indonesian guests have separate lines, and a longer route carries a different package because the days and the stops differ.
Sample parties in the calculator below are set against one, two and three days, showing how the total grows with the head count and the length of the route. Use it for the budget, then ask us for the exact figure.
A mixed party, say a family with some relatives from abroad and some living in Indonesia, is quoted line by line. When you write, tell us each guest's nationality.

The calculator shows the government entrance ticket alone. KEXI's park package already includes it, together with the ranger fee and local levies. Verified 10 October 2026.
Fees the package leaves to you
Several things fall outside the package, and we list them here so none comes as a surprise.
- Drone permit, on request. Excluded from both the fare and the package. We arrange it on request and quote the amount before it is added.
- The guide. Not included in a charter price; quoted on request.
- Photo and video documentation. Likewise quoted separately.
- Tips, flights, hotels and travel insurance. All excluded.
An open-trip seat includes the guide and documentation, but not the park package, which is quoted beside the seat.
If your written quote does not name an item, the package does not cover it. Should a stop ask for a charge your quote does not show, tell us straight away.
How and when you settle it
Your written quote states the amount, line by line. Ask us how it is paid for your date, whether with the balance or on departure day, and we confirm the method in writing.
Bring your own cash for tips and for any drinks beyond the free-flow list.
This page is dated 3 November 2026. The park authority can change a ticket price at any time, and when it does, the page is updated to match.

Does the fare include the park fee, and how much cash should I carry?

Is Komodo Island closed in 2026?
Any closure is the park authority's to announce, and notices change. This answer is dated 3 November 2026. Before you pay, we tell you in writing if a stop on your route is closed, and we propose another. The three-day route calls at Komodo Island; the other routes call at Rinca.
Can you arrange a drone permit, and is it excluded from the fare?
Yes to both. The drone permit is excluded from the fare and from the park package. Our reservation team arranges it on request and quotes the amount before it is added. Please do not fly without it. Photo and video documentation is quoted separately.
