Navila Liveaboard
One day, three stops, the whole boat to yourselves
Updated 3 November 2026
A full day private boat from Labuan Bajo on Navila Liveaboard carries up to fifteen guests to Padar, Pink Beach and Rinca for IDR 48,500,000 (≈ USD 2,975), the whole boat. It is a day charter, so nobody sleeps aboard. Eight friends pay IDR 6,060,000 (≈ USD 372) each; fifteen pay IDR 3,230,000 (≈ USD 198) each.
Padar, Pink Beach and Rinca between breakfast and dusk
There are three stops. First comes Padar, and the climb to the ridge. Then Pink Beach, for a swim and time on the sand. The day ends on Rinca with a ranger-led walk among the dragons, who are wild and never guaranteed.
Pickup and return are agreed with you, around your hotel and your flights, and confirmed in writing. The sea and the captain can move the hours of the stops, so we fix only the pickup and the return.
The route runs from Labuan Bajo back to Labuan Bajo, with no night aboard. The captain and the harbour authority decide the sequence of stops, and a new sequence does not change the price.
Trail details are on each stop's own page.
Day 1
| What happens | Have ready | |
|---|---|---|
| · | Labuan Bajo — Pickup from your hotel or Komodo Airport to the harbour; the time is set with your charter date and flights | passport or ID |
| · | Padar Island | shoes with grip, hat and water |
| · | Pink Beach | reef-safe sunscreen |
| · | Rinca Island | shoes with grip, hat and water |
| · | Back in Labuan Bajo the same day, then hotel or airport |
Times are operating patterns, not a timetable. Pickup is the only promise we make by the clock.
A day for guests who sleep ashore
The full day is for people who sleep ashore. That could be a party with one free day between flights, a family whose youngest is not ready for a night at sea, or a group with a hotel already booked who simply want the boat for the water.
It also works as a first taste of Navila before a longer voyage. The crew and the cruise director are the same as on the longer routes, and so is the deck: relax areas at the bow, in the middle and at the stern, the indoor dining room and the jacuzzi.
Where it falls short is sunrise on Padar. The day begins once you leave your hotel, so the dawn climb belongs to the overnight routes. Komodo Island is not on this route either; the dragon walk is on Rinca. Longer routes add more stops.
No one sleeps aboard, and the six cabins are not used overnight on this trip.
Fifteen is the ceiling, and only on this route
Only on the full day does Navila carry up to fifteen guests. Nobody sleeps aboard, so the cabins set no limit. Whenever fifteen is mentioned, it means the full day; every overnight route stops at twelve guests on standard beds, or fourteen with the extra-guest fee.
That makes the full day the natural answer for a party that has outgrown the cabins. A family of fifteen, or a company team of thirteen, can have the whole boat for the day, where an overnight trip would need a second boat.
Numbers do not change the price. On the full day, one guest or fifteen pay the same for the boat; only each person's share changes, as the section after next shows.
With no cabins involved, the question of double beds never comes up.
The one-day figure, covering all of Navila
A full day on the whole boat costs IDR 48,500,000 (≈ USD 2,975). That is the boat price for any full-day party of up to fifteen, for 2026. The same day in 2027 is IDR 55,650,000 (≈ USD 3,414).
Included are the Labuan Bajo transfer, the boat with its crew of six, led by a cruise director, and meals. Towels, life jackets and snorkelling sets are included too, along with coffee, tea, water, snacks and fruit. The park package, the guide, the photo and video documentation, tips and the drone permit are excluded, as are any drinks beyond those listed.
A guide or documentation can be added on request. Each is priced separately in writing, and nothing goes on the bill until you agree. The park package is arranged through us and appears as its own line.
Before you settle on a cash budget for the day, read the park fees page.

Each guest's share of the day
Each share is the boat price divided by the party, rounded to the nearest ten thousand. Eight friends pay IDR 6,060,000 (≈ USD 372) each, twelve pay IDR 4,040,000 (≈ USD 248), and fifteen pay IDR 3,230,000 (≈ USD 198). The table below shows every other size.
Together, eight friends pay IDR 48,500,000 (≈ USD 2,975) for the boat. The eighth guest adds nothing, and empty places take nothing off. The sum stays as it is.
Set this beside the overnight routes before you decide. A single day costs less, which makes it the cheapest way to meet Navila. A night at anchor, though, brings Kalong at dusk and Padar at dawn, the two hours a day trip can never reach.
For a small party, the three-day route gives more hours at sea for each rupiah spent.

Hotel doors and flight times shape the hours
Two things set the hours of this day: where your hotel is and when your flights leave. Give us both in your first message. The Labuan Bajo transfer, from airport or hotel to the pier and back, is included in the charter.
If you are flying in or out on the same day, we plan the return to the pier with time to spare, and we confirm the exact times in writing once the date is held. No beach is worth a missed flight.
Our hotels page suggests places to stay in Labuan Bajo, and the park fees page explains the national park's own tickets. Neither is included in the boat price.
The host's note. Have a proper breakfast before you reach the pier, as the first hours are spent at sea. Bring a hat, and keep one dry towel in your day bag for the last stop.
FAQ
How long is the full day, and what time does it start?
We agree the pickup and return with you, around your hotel and your flights, and confirm them in writing once the date is held. The captain and the harbour authority decide the sequence of stops, and the plan can shift with the weather.
Is the hotel or airport pickup in Labuan Bajo included?
Yes. A car collects you in Labuan Bajo, from the hotel or the airport, and returns you once the day is over. For a larger party, a bigger vehicle can be arranged on request, priced before it is added. The transfer covers Labuan Bajo only.
Can we see Komodo Island on the full day?
No. This route calls at Padar, Pink Beach and Rinca, with the dragon walk on Rinca. Komodo Island is on the three-day route. The dragons are wild, so neither island can guarantee a sighting, and the rangers choose the trail on the day.
