Navila Liveaboard
Three days on Navila, hour by hour
Updated 3 November 2026
A Labuan Bajo 3 days 2 nights phinisi trip on Navila Liveaboard starts when you are collected from your hotel or Komodo Airport at 09:00 to 09:30. It ends in harbour between 12:00 and 13:00 on day three. The whole boat is IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479) for one to four guests; a seat is IDR 7,100,000 (≈ USD 436).
Hour by hour through three days aboard
This route begins and ends in Labuan Bajo. No Lombok leg is published, and nothing here runs one way. The whole trip stays within Komodo National Park.
These three days are sold in two forms. Charter, and Navila is yours entirely; join the open trip, and you buy a seat in a cabin. Either way it is the same boat, the same crew and the same meals.
The hours below are the open-trip plan. A private 3D2N can follow its own sample route, agreed with the captain, and its pickup is set around your flights.
The captain and the weather decide where the boat anchors and in which sequence the stops come.

Day 3
| What happens | Have ready | |
|---|---|---|
| · | Kanawa Island | mask and snorkel |
| 12:00 | Back at Labuan Bajo harbour around 12:00 (open trip: trip ends 12:00 to 13:00) |
These stops swap order with tide and wind: Manta Point ⇄ Taka Makassar.
Times are operating patterns, not a timetable. Pickup is the only promise we make by the clock.
Day one: meet at 09:00, finish with sunset over Kalong
Between 09:00 and 09:30 a driver or guide collects you, at the airport or your hotel. You will have their number on WhatsApp beforehand, and the ride to the pier is part of the voyage.
Boarding is between 10:00 and 11:00, with the crew of six, led by a cruise director, waiting to welcome you.
The afternoon brings the Kelor trek, a stop at Manjarite, and then the slow end of the day at Kalong. In November the sun sets there at 18:01, and around a quarter of an hour later the flying foxes begin to cross.
Overnight the boat stays at anchor. The captain chooses the spot according to the weather, so we do not name it in advance.
Day two opens on Padar and closes at Manta Point
Day two is the long one, and it starts early, on Padar, for sunrise from the ridge. In November that comes at 05:31. Shoes with good grip help. How far you climb is up to the rangers and the weather.
After Padar comes Pink Beach, and then Komodo Island, where rangers lead the walk among wild dragons; no sighting is guaranteed. Snorkelling at Taka Makassar and Manta Point rounds off the day, and the mantas appear when the sea allows.
By evening the boat is at anchor once more. Dinner is served aboard. If you still have energy, there are the jacuzzi and the relax areas; if not, there are karaoke and the home theatre.
Every stop has its own page, describing the trail and the snorkelling in detail.
Prices for three days: whole vessel or a single cabin
Chartered privately for three days and two nights, Navila costs IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479) for one to four guests, IDR 77,000,000 (≈ USD 4,724) for five to eight and IDR 82,000,000 (≈ USD 5,031) for nine to twelve. That price does not include the guide, or photo and video documentation of the trip; we quote either separately on request.
On the open trip, a seat costs IDR 8,100,000 (≈ USD 497) in a Master cabin or IDR 7,100,000 (≈ USD 436) in a Private cabin, per person, two sharing, all-in for 2026. With an open-trip seat, the guide and documentation are part of the fare. In both cases the park package is extra.
For a couple the choice is a real one. Two seats cost twice the seat fare. The whole boat costs the band price, which works out at IDR 36,500,000 (≈ USD 2,239) for each of you. What the difference buys is the boat itself, privacy, and a date of your own choosing.
The cabin table below lists every seat, and each one is confirmed on WhatsApp before payment.

Per guest from two to fourteen, line by line
Each share falls quickly as the party grows. With two aboard, each pays IDR 36,500,000 (≈ USD 2,239); with four, each pays IDR 18,250,000 (≈ USD 1,120). A family of six moves into the next band, at IDR 12,830,000 (≈ USD 787) each.
Eight guests pay IDR 9,620,000 (≈ USD 590) each and twelve pay IDR 6,830,000 (≈ USD 419). With the extra-guest fee, fourteen pay IDR 6,430,000 (≈ USD 394) each. At any of these sizes the boat is entirely yours, with nobody else booked aboard.
These are shares of the boat, not the full cost of the trip. The park package, drinks, tips, flights and hotels are listed separately, and a card link adds 3 percent.
One more limit: each cabin has one double bed, so friends who would like separate beds should ask us before booking.

Landing, final morning and flight home: the timings that matter
On day three you snorkel at Kanawa, then sail back. The boat reaches the harbour in Labuan Bajo between 12:00 and 13:00, which is when the open trip ends, and the onward ride to your hotel or the airport comes with it.
Book your flight home for after 15:00. That margin covers the harbour, the transfer and any reshuffle the weather has caused. A midday flight asks too much of a morning at sea.
If you are coming from Bali, Lombok or Jakarta rather than starting in Labuan Bajo, fly in the day before; our guide to reaching Komodo explains the routes. A one-way trip to or from Lombok is not a published route, so please write to us first.
The host's note. On the last morning, keep your passport, a hat and your sandals together in one small bag. Nothing then needs to be hunted for on the way to the pier.
FAQ
How long should we spend in Komodo?
Three days sits in the middle of what Navila offers. A single day covers Padar, Pink Beach and Rinca, and two days add a night at anchor. Three days and two nights bring in Komodo Island, sunrise on Padar and Manta Point. Four days go further, to Gili Lawa and Rangko Cave.
Do you sail round trip from Labuan Bajo, or one way towards Lombok?
Round trip. Every published Navila route starts and finishes at the harbour in Labuan Bajo and stays within Komodo National Park; no Lombok leg is published. For a one-way passage to or from Lombok, message us on WhatsApp and we will price it separately.
When does the trip finish, and which flight home is safe to book?
On day three the open trip is back at the harbour in Labuan Bajo between 12:00 and 13:00, so book a flight leaving after 15:00. The transfer on to the airport or your hotel is part of the voyage. If the weather changes the sequence of stops, the time can move.
Where is the pickup, and what time?
Someone meets you between 09:00 and 09:30, at the airport or at your Labuan Bajo hotel, and you board between 10:00 and 11:00. Charter guests have the time set around their flights. The driver's number is sent to you on WhatsApp before the day.
