A retreat for senior colleagues with no other guests on board

Updated 3 November 2026

A Labuan Bajo executive retreat yacht should give a company privacy first, and Navila does: six en-suite cabins and no other guests. It takes up to 12 colleagues, 14 with the extra-guest fee. On the 3D2N whole boat, eight executives pay IDR 9,620,000 (≈ USD 590) each, from a band price of IDR 77,000,000 (≈ USD 4,724).

An offsite for senior colleagues, aboard a single phinisi

A hotel struggles to offer privacy, a change of scene and one shared table all at once. A boat of your own manages it more easily. On Navila the only people besides your colleagues are Navila's crew of six, led by a cruise director, and at night the boat lies at anchor where the captain judges best.

The three-day route works well for a retreat that also has to work. Day one starts with a harbour pickup timed around your flights, then the short walk on Kelor and an evening at Kalong. Day two runs from sunrise on Padar through Pink Beach and Komodo Island to Taka Makassar and Manta Point. Day three is a snorkel at Kanawa before the harbour.

Hold working sessions at anchor, in the morning or after dinner, and keep the stops for rest. A meeting aboard is arranged on request; the services page explains how. Starlink internet is on board, but the signal depends on the boat's position, so design sessions that do not depend on a connection.

Twelve places over six cabins, with a rooming plan

Twelve places in six cabins sounds straightforward until you count the beds. Each cabin has one double bed, so colleagues who would not share a bed need a cabin each. Up to six executives can have a cabin to themselves; from seven, some share, and you choose who.

The two Master cabins have an ocean view and a wide window, and the four Private cabins have an ocean view as well. All six have their own bathroom with a hot shower, air conditioning and a safety box. Since the fittings match, rank need not follow the cabin names. The one real difference is that only the Master cabins take an extra guest.

A thirteenth or fourteenth colleague adds the extra-guest fee, IDR 4,000,000 (≈ USD 245) per guest on the 3D2N route, and sleeps in a Master cabin. Retreats of six days or longer are limited to twelve, and more than fourteen people need a second boat.

Send the rooming plan as a short list, giving name, cabin and who shares, and we confirm it in writing.

Cost per attendee, from the whole-vessel sum

The price is for the boat; the cost per attendee follows from the head count. Over 3D2N the boat costs IDR 73,000,000 (≈ USD 4,479) for up to four people, IDR 77,000,000 (≈ USD 4,724) for five to eight and IDR 82,000,000 (≈ USD 5,031) for nine to twelve.

Eight attendees pay IDR 9,620,000 (≈ USD 590) each, and twelve pay IDR 6,830,000 (≈ USD 419) each. A company that books ten and later adds two stays in the same band. One that books eight and then adds a ninth crosses into the next band, and the total goes up with it. Settle the head count before you settle the budget.

The boat price covers the crew, three meals a day, free-flow coffee, tea and water, snacks and fruit, and the harbour transfer in Labuan Bajo. Separate lines cover the park package, tips and card fees, and a guide or documentation is quoted on its own when requested.

Details a company sends us, and the deadline

One message from the company should include the following.

  • The dates and the route: three days or four.
  • The number of attendees and the cabin plan.
  • Names exactly as they appear in passports, and nationalities, since the park package differs for foreign and Indonesian visitors.
  • Dietary needs. List each one and we confirm it in writing; no dish is promised until the kitchen has read the list.
  • The name and address for the invoice.

The date that matters is the balance date. Paying 50 percent holds the boat. The remainder falls 30 days ahead of sailing, or can be settled in cash or by EDC on departure day if your finance team prefers. Send the names and the cabin plan with the deposit, so that nothing is still open when the balance falls due.

Papers your accounts team will ask for

An accounts team asks for only a few documents. PT Komodo Explorer Indonesia, NIB 1805260128363, issues the invoice, and it carries one bank account, the only one we use. Send us the company's legal name and address, and we prepare the invoice alongside the quote.

The park package, the guide and the documentation appear as separate lines, so finance can code each one on its own. Payment works by bank transfer, card link or PayPal. With 3 percent on the card link and 7.2 percent on PayPal, a transfer costs the company least.

Check with us before booking how the invoice should be addressed, as a company name cannot be changed once the invoice is issued. The replacement-boat promise is also in writing. Should Navila be unable to sail, the party moves to a boat of equal or better class that same day for nothing extra, or receives back everything it has paid.

Arithmetic for eight senior colleagues

Take eight senior colleagues on the three-day route. The five-to-eight band is IDR 77,000,000 (≈ USD 4,724), which divided by eight comes to IDR 9,620,000 (≈ USD 590) each. Six colleagues have a cabin each, and the remaining two cabins are shared by pairs.

Booking runs in five steps, all on WhatsApp.

  • Send your dates, the head count and the route.
  • Receive the quote, with the separate cost lines set out beside the boat price.
  • Pay the deposit of 50 percent.
  • Send names, the cabin plan and the invoice details.
  • Pay the balance 30 days before sailing.

The boat price includes neither a guide nor documentation. If the retreat wants a photographer, ask for one and we send a separate quote.

FAQ

Can our company hold a working session aboard Navila?

Yes, as an arrangement on request, quoted before anything is added. The spaces for it are the indoor dining room and the relax areas. Starlink internet is fitted, but reception rises and falls with the boat's position, so we do not promise a connection for a call. Describe the session when you write.

What happens if Navila is replaced or cannot sail on our dates?

If Navila cannot sail on your dates, the company moves to a boat of equal or better class on the same day, at no charge. If that does not suit, the company receives a full refund, normally within 2 × 24 hours once the refund conditions are met. We put the offer in writing for your finance team, and nothing is deducted from what you have paid.

When must a company pay the deposit and the balance?

The deposit is 50 percent and holds the date. The remainder falls 30 days ahead of sailing; cash and EDC on departure day are accepted too. Send the invoice details with the deposit, so the document is ready whenever your accounts team asks for it.

Can the company change the date after it has booked?

Yes, the date can be changed. Close to sailing a change costs IDR 500,000, and the terms page sets out the windows. Tell us early, because the band price follows the final head count and Navila is free only on some dates.
